Lead 3D Character Artist

Our company is looking for a Lead 3D Character Artist for an unannounced fantasy action multiplayer game for PC/PlayStation/XBox in Unreal Engine 5.

We are looking for a lead character artist who is ready to take on the challenge and build a team of professionals to help us realize memorable images of warriors and unique monsters in this dangerous world. Working closely with the art director and technical artists, your task will be to build processes to create high-quality 3D models and textures for game characters. Together with colleagues, you will work to create unique characters and creatures, taking into account the technical limitations and requirements of the game engine, in order to provide a unique gaming experience.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

• full cycle game-ready character creation (armor, creatures, weapons, face/hair) 

• participating in character creation processes establishment

• review of character assets and providing feedback

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• proficiency in ZBrush and Blender

• good anatomy knowledge

• ability to maintain an established style and communicate it to others

• proactivity

• effective teamwork

• ability to provide quality feedback and to receive one

Nice to have:

• experience working on similar projects

• experience with Substance package

• experience with Marvelous Designer

• familiarity with Unreal Engine or similar engine
